Kevin Adams

Kevin M. Adams is a Research Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute Headquarters (SEI) where his work is focused on global climate governance, particularly climate finance and transboundary climate risks. He leads the an SEI programme of work on Multilateral Climate Funds, including serving as Focal Point to the GCF, and is a founding member of the Stockholm Sustainable Finance Centre. His portfolio of work on transboundary climate risks centres on food security risks transmitted via agricultural supply chains. He is trained as a political scientist and has published numerous academic articles and policy reports on these topics, including in Global Environmental Politics, and acting as co-Editor of the AdaptationWatch report series. Prior to joining SEI, Kevin worked as an independent contractor, including supporting the UNFCCC in the Technical Examination Process on Adaptation.
